A girl disguised in a blond wig shot to loss of life two Israeli men at a Chinese restaurant in an upscale Mexico City shopping center, in what seems to be an assassination carried out by an organized crime hit squad.
The alleged assailant was rapidly arrested and claimed the double murder was against the law of passion – however authorities stated on Thursday that each victim have been well-identified figures in the Israeli underworld.
“The event yesterday leads us to narrate the details with the settling of scores amongst criminal teams and/or organized crime,” stated Ulíses Lara López, a spokesman for the town prosecutor’s office. “It could possibly be a settling of scores in the Israeli mafia, which is why a whole identification [of the victims] was possible, along with their criminal records.”
Mexico City officers recognized the victims as Johny Ben and Alon Azulay. The embassy of Israel in Mexico confirmed the victims have been Israeli citizens. It mentioned that Ben, 44, and Azulay, 41, “already had criminal records in Israel as well as in Mexico.”
The embassy recognized Ben by the name “Benjamin Yeshurun Sutchi.”
The assault happened on Wednesday at the Artz Pedregal shopping center. Authorities mentioned the lady and a male accomplice sat down at a desk close to the victims at the Hunan restaurant and ordered drinks.
The lady then rose and approached the Israelis, shooting them at close range. One of the sufferers died at the scene, whereas the other man later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
